community with no awareness?

You throw the world’s first Branchwarming Party.
That’s how.

When we decided to expand south in to Castle Rock, our southernmost branch at the time, we had little-to-no brand awareness. To overcome that, we wanted to announce it a little differently, and a little more like family. A little more like a block party. Live music, free food, even Dinger from the Colorado Rockies was there. In the lead up, to further drive engagement, we did a coffee shop takeover at a local spot where our staff gave away free coffee for a few hours.

Door hanger invitations were distributed in neighborhoods near the branch that included a ticket on the back to win $2,000 in a money market account.
